Effects of Alloying Element and Heat Treatment on Mechanical Properties of Alloy Steels

چکیده

The effects of Cr and Ni on three different types steel with carbon ratios under constant conditions such as the welding current 120A, voltage 80V, Diameter 10 mm angle 60 degree was observed. Nickel percentage up to 0.147% Chromium 0.083% contributed affecting mechanical properties steel. Undissolved carbide particles refine austenite grain size. In presence nickel, chromium is less effective in refinement than absence nickel at temperature below 975°C. does not produce any but promotes formation acicular ferrites. It also found that refines ferrite size morphology. more refining nickel. microstructure base metal a reference material analysed before heating support results chemical analysis. 0.083%.
